An 'INCOMPLETE' History of Punk Rock & Vinyl Painting Party - Beacon RiNo
Come join us at Beacon RiNo for a night of punk rock history and vinyl painting! Dive into the world of punk with a fun twist as we explore the 'incomplete' history of this iconic genre. Get creative and express yourself by painting your own vinyl record. No experience necessary - just bring your enthusiasm and we'll provide the rest! Bring your delinquent, anarchist spirit and don't miss out on this unique event that combines music, art & punk rage. And you'll have a great souvenir to take home!
We are going to take you guys on a chronological journey through the history of punk, starting at the beginning with "proto punk" acts like the MC5 & The Stooges of the late 60s & early 70s all the way to the current bands of today like Blink 182 & Rise Against with lots of stops in the 80s,90s, 00s & 2010s. We will try to touch on as many subgenres within the larger umbrella as possible. Feel free to send requests to [email protected] - we'll try to get them on if we have them.
