About this Event
Join us as we explore what is needed to encourage and support ethnic minorities to make greener choices – from the way we travel, heat our homes, to eating healthier diets. This Climate Conversation event is an interactive and engaging event that invites adults, young people, farmers, and community members to discuss how we shape fair, practical climate solutions that reflect our lived experiences. Together, we will explore greener housing, lower energy costs, affordable transport and sustainable agriculture and land use – asking what opportunities exist for ethnic minorities, what barriers remain, and how they can be removed, especially for lower-income households. The discussion from this event will also influence Welsh’s government decision-making, build community connections, and amplify collective action. No expertise is required—your lived experience matters, because climate change affects us all, and your voice is essential to shaping fair solutions.
This event aims to create a safe space for ethnic minorities to share their experiences and perspectives on climate issues, with lots of experienced speakers, an interactive expert panel discussion, great networking opportunities. Let's come together to learn from each other and work towards a more sustainable future.
