Artist Workshop For Kids!
Join us for a fun-filled art workshop where your little ones (ages 4+) can unleash their creativity!
The workshop will be held at Blue Drip Co. on 2350 Saratoga St., Alameda.
The theme for this workshop is spring!
Participants will leave with:
- A pocket size sketchbook
- A memorable experience
- A beautiful 8.5" x 14 piece of artwork
Please bring:
- A passion for art
- A willingness to have a blast
- A copy of your ticket
Parking:
Please utilize street parking and not the building's parking lot. It is reserved for residents only.
Background of Organizer:
Jazmyne Woffard-Jones is a black female artist located in Alameda, California. She is a working mom with a 7 year old son. Her main goal in hosting workshops is to create more spaces for kids to get lost in art making.
Her educational background is in photography, a medium she mostly uses in her pieces. Woffard-Jones graduated from California College of the Arts and has exhibited in multiple shows and galleries, SF Camerawork to name one.

Agenda
Introduction
Info: Jazmyne will introduce herself followed by a brief explanation of the project and a step by step (already made) mock-up. This portion of the workshop will be less than 15 minutes.
Let the Art Making Brainstorming Begin!
Info: All artists will be given their handmade notebooks to sketch and brainstorm ideas.
Final Project Time!
Info: Artists will shift gears and will begin the final project! An 8.5" x 14" textured collage. This will take up the bulk of the workshop time.15 minutes before we finish our session, artists will be asked to add final details followed up clean up and reflection time in their notebooks.
