We are excited to bring you the 3rd annual An Event, Period. on October 10 to benefit The Monthlies Project, which funds a growing need to distribute period products to schools and organizations that serve young menstruators. We’ve planned an evening of gut-busting comedy, hors d'oeuvres, reimagined craft cocktails and mocktails, and unapologetic empowerment!
The Monthlies Project is bloody excited to announce this year’s featured entertainment as stand-up comedian, actress, ACLU Celebrity Ambassador for Women’s Rights and 4-season SNL alum, ✨Sasheer Zamata!✨
You’ll recognize Sasheer as a lead in ABC’s Home Economics alongside Topher Grace, or from her upcoming roles in Marvel’s Agatha All Along and Netflix’s Exploding Kittens. As an advocate for open conversations and breaking taboos, her refreshing, comedic perspective promises to blend laughter with education.
