More About Zach Winters
"Zach Winters is a gardener of verses—growing his work and life together. Winters’ songs resonate with the sacred and the commonplace—companionship, wrestling with the divine, passing seasons, and the pursuit of a tangible beauty. His lyrical themes share a kinship to the poetry of Frost and Tagore. Over the years, Winters has honed his songwriting and DIY approach, while staying true to his homemade yet luxuriant variety of indie-folk. Zach has self-produced eight full-length albums as well as a handful of EPs and other projects, garnering praise from voices like Paste Magazine...
Winters moved his family to southern Mexico for a year for his kids to learn Spanish and to finish the 13-track LP, . And after cancelling all plans along with the rest of the world in 2020, Zach set to work on a new group of songs that was released in batches through 2021, and culminated in the release of in 2022.
In the autumn of 2022, Winters began writing what would become a collection of 100 poems, called , and a new album called (April 24, 2024).
In the last few years, Zach Winters has been on tour throughout the US, Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Costa Rica & Mexico, musically migrating with his family and playing shows with musical friends in homes and concert halls. "
