Georgie Codd has worked behind the scenes at a funeral parlour, taught English in a Himalayan nunnery, edited publications for the Tibetan Government in Exile, and shadowed drug dealers in Florida City. She is a graduate of the University of East Anglia's Prose-writing MA, where her flash fiction won the Seth Donaldson Bursary.Her first book, We Swim to the Shark, was published by Fleet Books in January 2020 and featured on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour. Her next book, Never Had A Dad, was previewed on ‘This American Life’ in June 2022 and was released by William Collins in June 2024.h
