An Evening with Tom Cunliffe and Will Keating
Come join us for a special evening at the National Maritime Museum Cornwall with two incredible talents - Tom Cunliffe and Will Keating.Get ready for an unforgettable night filled with stories, music, and maritime magic. Tom Cunliffe, a renowned sailor and author, will share captivating tales from his adventures at sea. Meanwhile, Will Keating, a talented musician, will serenade us with traditional sea shanties that will transport you to the high seas. Don't miss this unique opportunity to be entertained by these two legends.
There are 100 tickets on sale for both Tom's Talk and Will's Music Evening. Capacity for Tom's Talk is 100 because it will be in the lecture theatre at The Maritime Museum but then Will Keating will be playing in the Boat Hall from 8pm where capacity is 150 so there are a further 50 tickets available for the musical part of the evening only.
There will be a paid Bar at the Event and all proceeds from the evening go directly to Veterans Sailing Charity Turn to Starboard.

Tom Cunliffe - 'Living Through the Gale’
Info: Tom Cunliffe is one of Britain’s leading writers on sailing and the sea. A professional writer since 1986, Cunliffe has won the Best Book of the Sea award twice, for Topsail and Battleaxe and Hand, Reef and Steer. In 2010 he presented the award-winning six-part BBC documentary series, The Boats that Built Britain. He also presented the popular 'Boat Yard' series for Discovery TV. In February 2024, his YouTube channel, Yachts and Yarns, had 33,800 subscribers.In this talk, Tom recounts some memorably nasty nights at sea which he'd rather forget, but I relives them here whilst talking through the options for conditions we all hope we’ll never face. Tom is also a newly announced Patron of Falmouth-based Veterans Sailing Charity, Turn to Starboard.

Music with Will Keating & Friends
Info: Will is an award-winning singer-songwriter, also one of the members of popular Shanty Group The Oggymen. Will's passion for his home county of Cornwall shines through his music and he has wowed audiences far and wide since embarking on a solo career in 2017. Will is a Navy Veteran himself and a keen supporter of Falmouth-based Veterans Sailing Charity, Turn to Starboard.
