We have some exciting news........You may remember, back in July that there was a Red Kite stuck high up in a tree. Chrissie Gaines appealed to the community who came together to help Chrissie retrieve the bird and take it to give it the help it so desperately needed.
Sadly, the bird didn't make it but left a great legacy by raising awareness for the selfless work that Chrissie does to help these owls and birds in their moment of need.
We've teamed up with the lovely Chrissie's Owls & Stonesfield Owl Rescue to bring you a relaxed evening with owls on Sunday 26th January 2025.
We're going to host a presentation by Chrissie who will tell you a little about the owls, how she cares for them and her tireless work championing the welfare of the owls and other Birds of Prey with a couple of owls here to help her along. There will be a Q & A session too.
The evening will start at 7pm and we will finish at 9pm.
It's a ticketed event and the cost is just £15 to include a hot meal of Curry, Rice & Naan Bread.
ALL TICKET MONEY will go to Chrissie to help her raise much needed funding at a time when her charitable work is most costly.
We will donate the food.
Bar will be open to purchase drinks
There just 40 tickets available and these are on a first come basis. Tickets available from The Punchbowl - CASH ONLY please!
There will also be a donation collection on the evening.
So, look ahead to those January Blues and give tourself something to look forward to in the New Year.
