Doors at 5:45 bring your own refreshments!Simon is a local singer and songwriter rooted in the folk tradition and he will be performing his songs and music, many of which have local connections in terms of the history and landscape of our lovely area.
In addition, he sings traditional folk songs, some of which have been collected through the ages from Hampshire and further afield in these islands of ours.
In a nod towards more contemporary songs, he also interprets these and sometimes writes different tunes to songs that might be more widely known.
His songs and music have been described as a sort of 'smorgasbord of folk mixed with a dash of humour' and he's very much looking forward to playing in St Nicholas Chapel.
