The La Porte County Public Library is thrilled to present An Evening with Shelby Van Pelt, author of "Remarkably Bright Creatures".This debut novel became an instant New York Times bestseller and The Today Show’s Read with Jenna Book Club pick.

Shelby will share insights into her writing process, the characters, themes of loss and hope, and the giant Pacific octopus, followed by a book signing. Doors will open at 5:00pm, with light desserts and a cash bar available.
