Pioneering DJ and member of Visage and Rich Kids, Rusty Egan, will be appearing at Beat The Clock Records in Hove, in the downstairs events room, discussing his career with the hosts of popular YouTube channel “Electronic Cafe”, alongside an audience Q&A, signing and some surprises!Rusty sculpted the soundtrack to a generation in his position as DJ at London’s legendary Blitz Club. Fusing David Bowie and Kraftwerk, amongst others, to formulate the sonic backdrop for the New Romantic movement, whilst his club colleague and band mate, Steve Strange, blended flamboyant fashions to create the look.
Rusty has recently curated a CD and Vinyl set entitled “Blitzed”, bringing together the many bands that were part of his vision.
