About The Book
The Renaissance Rewired explores how emerging technologies like artificial intelligence (Al) and sophisticated modeling are reshaping society, particularly government and education. It argues that the U.S. federal government, rooted in an outdated hierarchical system, must evolve into a more adaptive, networked model based on Complex Adaptive Systems (CAS). The author proposes a decentralized, citizen-focused governance structure that leverages Al for decision-making and transparency while reducing bureaucracy and operating cost.
Key themes for the federal government include the integration of conceptual innovation, systems thinking, and emergent strategies to address modern challenges such as the environmental crisis, energy management and geopolitical risk. The book also emphasizes reforming education to prepare future generations for an Al-driven world and calls for cross-sector collaboration between government, academia, and industry. Ultimately, it serves as a roadmap for reimagining democratic governance in the complexity of the 21st century.
