About this Event
With an astounding zest for life Coach Rob Mendez has inspired thousands to choose faith over fear and opportunity instead of limitation.
Rob was born with an extraordinarily rare condition called tetra-amelia syndrome - without arms and legs. He has never let that hold him back from pursuing his passion to coach football and spends most of his time inspiring others both on and off the field.
He has appeared on several national television shows and in an ESPN documentary short feature Who Says I Can't ? which was nominated for a 2019 Emmy Award and was entered in the Tribeca Film Festival.

Please join us for the evening on Thursday, June 2nd 2022 at Above Ash Social so that we may all draw inspiration from Coach Rob to help propel us forward in our own goals and to ignite us to inspire others.
The evening will include:
- A speech by Rob and a viewing of his ESPN documentary short feature
- Scenic rooftop venue with carving station, hors d'oeuvres and cocktails
- An opportunity to network with some of San Diego’s leaders in business
- Music by DJ IAMNOEL accompanied by live saxophonist
- Live auction with all proceeds going directly to Coach Rob Mendez
