*Please note with general admission tickets seating is not guaranteed and will be on a first come first served basis*In conversation about his life and career, Eric 'Ricky' Tomlinson is an English actor (and former plasterer) best known for his television roles as Bobby Grant in the soap opera Brookside (1982-1988), DCI Charlie Wise in Cracker (1993-2006) and Jim Royle In The Royle Family (1998-2012).
He also played the tie character in mockumentary Mike Bassett: England Manager. He has also starred in the BBC series Nice Guy Eddie and Clocking Off as well as the film Nativity with Martin Freeman and 51st state with Samuel L Jackson.
The evening will be hosted by BBC Radio Merseyside presenter Asa Murphy.
