Catch the Poet Laureate, SIMON ARMITAGE, reading and in conversation at East Riding Theatre when he joins writer and producer DAVE WINDASS to discuss what Armitage calls the ‘twilight zone’ where poetry and song lyric converge.
He will read from his first collection of song lyrics, "Never Good with Horses", which celebrates his ear for the music of language, and from "Blossomise’" an instant Sunday Times bestseller this year.
The event will include an audience Q&A and this will be followed by book-signing - in conjunction with The Beverley Bookshop - where you can buy a selection of Simon's works.
