Ideated by TV Producer & New Author Steve Jones, Hollywood Confidential is a live event series dedicated to educating creatives of color on the inner workings of the industry from a panel of veterans.
In existence for over a decade, the series has served as a true North Star to those dreaming of a career in the entertainment industry. Past Hollywood Confidential guest honorees have included Oscar winning actresses Lupita Nyong'o, Regina King, Angela Bassett, Issa Rae, Keke Palmer, Snoop Dogg, and more!
On Friday, February 27th, from 7-9pm, Hollywood Confidential will honor Loretta Devine with the VANGUARD Award, at a premiere event in recognition of her outstanding career, and in observation of the 30th anniversary of her groundbreaking film Waiting To Exhale. We will also salute projects from her cannon of ICONIC shows, including The Preacher's Wife, Grey's Anatomy, This Christmas, Dreamgirls, and more! With special guests joining the celebration, this is an event you DON’T want to miss!
As always, #HollywoodConfidential is free of charge to attend, but those who want a guaranteed seat can select the Preferred seating option. Doors open at 6pm sharp!
