The fusion bands Lalo Cura (Goshen, IN) & After Ours (South Bend, IN & Asheville, NC) will be performing a special evening of music on Saturday, February 1st at The Rocki Button in South Bend, IN. In addition to being two of the top original bands in the area, both bands are active in collaborations with local breweries (After Ours has collaborated on beers with Evil Czech & Bare Hands, while Lalo Cura has a signature beer from Goshen Brewing Company).
Lalo Cura is a Spanish Rock band based in Goshen, IN. Formed in 2012, Lalo Cura has developed a unique sound that combines every musical genre that has influenced each member of the group. The band is led by Rafael Chávez y Moreno on guitar and vocals; Sam Que on saxophone; Brendyn Cane on drums; Khalin Diggins (AKA The Great Khalin) on bass and Terrell "T-Rex" Ross on Keys.

After Ours is a two-man wrecking crew with influences ranging from modern jazz to grunge to instrumental hip hop & experimental music. Hybrid 7-string guitarist/loop freak Eli Kahn creates sonic layer cakes with the aid of his effects arsenal atop drummer Arthur Schroeder's ever-expansive jazz beat backdrops to create a unique sound that is all their own. Since their inception in 2015, the duo has built a following with their dynamic live performances.
