About this Event
Join author Kat Dunn as she celebrates the publication of her debut adult novel Hungerstone – a brilliant feminist vampire novel about appetite and desire. Hungerstone is a reclaiming of the lesbian vampire trope and a beautifully atmospheric, feminist re-telling of the tale which inspired Dracula: Carmilla. Set in the 19th century in the violent wilderness of the Peak District, against a backdrop of the uncontrolled appetite of the industrial revolution.
Dunn will be in conversation with fantasy YA novelist Holly Race. Book signing to follow.
