John Lindsey, internationally renowned violinist and educator, joins friends to present an evening of music by Bach, Schubert, Paganini, Elgar, and many more! For 25 years, John Lindsey served on the violin faculty of the Crane School of Music, while also maintaining a robust performance schedule with the Orchestra of Northern New York, the Lexington Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Dallas Chamber Orchestra, among many others. John has performed on tours throughout the United States and Europe, and performed Corelli's "Christmas Concerto" and Handel's "Messiah" at the Church of the Annunciation in Nazareth.
Joining John for this evening of wonderful music will be Carl Bingle (organ), Perry Morgan (violin), and Andrew Long (piano).
This recital is free and open to the public. A free-will offering will be collected to offset the costs of the recital and to support the Organ Restoration Fund at First Presbyterian Church. A reception will follow.
