Doors 5:00 PM
$40 (Advance Only)
Joe Pug has been the wish list of artists I’ve hoped to host, for several years now. So, it’s fair to say that I’m awfully happy he’s accepted my invitation and will make his Vernon, NJ debut on Saturday April 26th. If you’re reading this, you should join me for a wonderful evening of songs.
A singer-songwriter known for his lyrical acumen and plaintive harmonica style, Joe Pug dropped out of college and moved to Chicago where he worked as a carpenter before breaking into the city’s music scene. Since 2008 he has released a string of critically-acclaimed albums and toured heavily in the U.S. and abroad. Paste Magazine wrote of his music: “Unless your surname is Dylan, Waits, Ritter or Prine, you could face-palm yourself to death trying to pen songs half as inspired."
He has toured with Steve Earle, Levon Helm, The Killers, Justin Townes Earle, Sturgill Simpson, and many others. He has appeared at Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, and The Newport Folk Festival. His music has appeared on NPR’s “Prairie Home Companion” and “Mountain Stage”. His music has been released by Lightning Rod Records, which features an alumni roster of Jason Isbell, Billy Joe Shaver, and James McMurtry. He's also the creator and host of the popular podcast The Working Songwriter.
I hope you’ll join me!

**VERY Important Notes**
If you have the ability to car pool or meet up along the way, lessening the number of cars, that's a GREAT help. PLEASE Under No Circumstances Park in front of my neighbor’s house across the street from me. Once my driveway is full the best places to park are 1) the street just below me. 2) You may also park in front of my next door neighbor's house just above me (the one with the long driveway). However please don't park any further up than one house above me. My next door neighbor with the long driveway is ok with people parking on the grass off the right side of his driveway. a single line of cars, making sure he's in no way blocked from getting out. Apologies for all the parking details, but it's important to adhere to this.
One Spot to consider meeting up leaving a car is Maple Grange Park. It's exactly 1/2 a mile down the road from me. Not a bad walk either if anyone is up for that. I greatly appreciate your help with this.
