Celebrated for “dazzling audiences with her talent, energy, sincerity and humor,” singer, actress and Broadway legend Jessica Vosk brings her “perfectly crafted cabaret” (BroadwayWorld) to Ohrstrom-Bryant Theatre for an evening of Broadway hits and popular and rock standards. Vosk is best known for her star turn as Elphaba in the musical Wicked. She performed the role of the green witch for two years on tour, during the 15th anniversary run on Broadway, and again in 2023 with a masterful performance of “Defying Gravity” on the PBS Great Performances 50th Anniversary Concert. Her commanding role has garnered her critical praise and a large, devoted following, and led to a hit solo show My Golden Age, which debuted at Carnegie Hall in 2021. The show, which has been performed throughout the nation, is beloved as much for its ability to showcase Vosk’s powerhouse voice and personality as it is for revealing her unconventional journey to Broadway — from a Wall Street career to a leap of faith in pursuit of her dreams on stage.
