Emmy-winning, Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild, and Tony Award® nominated Michigan native Jeff Daniels will perform an intimate and unforgettable night of stories and songs on the acoustic and electric guitar on Wednesday, November 12th at the Heyde Center for the Arts. Back by demand after his sold-out 2010 appearance, music lovers and movie fans alike will enjoy his songs, playing, and musicianship, and those stories that only he can tell.Jeff Daniels is not only a celebrated actor and playwright but also an accomplished musician. He began playing guitar in 1976 after purchasing a Guild D-40, which became a creative outlet and a personal sanctuary. Over the years, Daniels has developed a serious music career, releasing multiple albums that blend folk, blues, and comedic storytelling. His discography includes titles such as Grandfather’s Hat, Jeff Daniels Live and Unplugged, and Alive and Well Enough. Daniels has performed across the country, often incorporating humor and personal anecdotes into his live shows, and his music reflects a deep connection to his Midwestern roots.
