WHEN THE BONES SING is an Ozarks story, born and bred, and I'm so thrilled to be returning to my alma mater and the place where I spent many wonderful years directing and teaching acting with a group of very special theatre kids! Clarksville, Arkansas, friends and readers, come hang out with me on March 10th at 6PM in Robson Library on the University of the Ozarks campus!
I'll be talking about my journey as a writer and how my years at U of O influenced this story, and I'll be taking questions from local readers and writers. Books will be available for purchase and signing!
I was born and raised in Oklahoma, and I live in Florida now, but Clarksville, Arkansas, will always be the place that feels most like "home" to me. I was a college student there, and then I worked on campus for fifteen more years. My son was born and was little there. I did the most important work of my life there. It's where I met so many people who are forever embedded in my heart. And it's where I fell in love with the magic and mystery of the Ozark Mountains.
I'm excited to be coming back to visit and to celebrate the launch of book number four!
