An Evening with Elaine C Smith
As part of the Glasgow 850 celebrations, we're thrilled to hold a very special evening hosted by the Lord Provost in aid of 2 Charities - Glasgow Women's Aid & LP Charity of Vulnerable Citizens.
Join us for ‘An Evening with Elaine C Smith’ — one of Scotland’s most beloved entertainers — in the stunning surroundings of the City Chambers on Friday 24 October 2025 at 7pm.
Tickets are free but we’d love it if you would consider a minimum £10 donation that will go towards raising funds for Elaine’s chosen charities
Recently awarded Freedom of the City of Glasgow, Elaine is one of Scotland’s most respected and celebrated performers. Following her training at the then Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, she has starred in some of the most iconic Glasgow shows including as Mary Doll in Rab C Nesbitt, Irene in City Lights and as Christine in Two Doors Down for which she won a BAFTA Scotland award.
