About this Event
Beginning Oct. 17 - 19, we are holding two special performances of Poe stories and poems each night one at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. All performances held in the visitor center auditorium and light refreshments will be provided (coffee, cookies, etc.).
Edgar Allan Poe was America’s most famous writer of the macabre, and several of his works were among the personal collection of James A. Garfield. The special performances of Poe stories and poems feature actor David Keltz, America’s foremost Poe living historian!
Doors will open 5 min. prior to scheduled ticket time with each program approx. 1.5 hours. During the first half hour, tour the Garfield home and enjoy light refreshments. The performances will begin at around 6:30 p.m. and then 8:30 p.m.
- All 6 p.m. shows will feature the poem The Raven and the story The Cask of Amontillado.
Please note doors will open at 5:55 p.m. - All 8 p.m. shows will feature the poem The Raven and the story The Black Cat.
Please note doors will open at 7:55 p.m.
This event is for those 16-years and older. Tickets are limited and required.
