About this Event
The Study at Johns Hopkins is proud to host Dan Rodricks, longtime columnist for The Baltimore Sun, for a reflection on his adopted city, the shifting local and national media landscape, and his turn to the stage as a new way of telling Baltimore’s story. He’ll also discuss "No Mean City: Baltimore 1966"—his latest play exploring the Orioles, the Civil Rights Movement, and the city’s last Republican mayor—debuting in March 2026 at the Meyerhoff Theater at the Baltimore Museum of Art.
Admission is free, with complimentary light bites and drinks available for purchase. RSVPs are requested, though walk-ins are welcome on a space-available basis.
Support Student Access to Live Theater
On March 11, the production of "No Mean City" will present a free matinee for local high school students, made possible through the generosity of community supporters. If you’re able, please consider making a contribution to help sustain this opportunity for students. Follow the link below to learn more and make a donation.
