Join us for a powerful night of Southern songwriting as CJ Solar and Travis McCready take the stage together for the very first time, up close and unplugged at Louie Louie’s in Natchez.
🎶 CJ Solar, a Baton Rouge native and nationally acclaimed country rocker, has co-written two #1 hits — “Up Down” (Morgan Wallen ft. Florida Georgia Line) and “Some Girls” (Jameson Rodgers). With additional cuts by Jason Aldean, Justin Moore, and many more artists you know. CJ was name 2019 Independent Artist of the Year by Music Row Magazin. He has played the Grand Ole Opry, the Bluebird Cafe, and many more iconic venues throughout the world. CJ blends southern rock energy with Nashville songwriting craftsmanship.
🎸 Travis McCready, a Natchez-born vocalist and songwriter, brings a deep, soulful sound rooted in blues, rock, and raw personal experience. His debut full-length album, recorded at the legendary Muscle Shoals Sound and FAME Studios, climbed into the Top 5 on the Billboard Blues chart and earned critical acclaim nationwide. Travis has been featured in in many national articles, including pieces by Rolling Stone, The New York Times, and Los Angeles Times.
Together, these two artists have shared stages with The Rolling Stones, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hank Williams Jr., Kid Rock, and other music legends. Now, for the first time, they’re coming together for a rare and intimate night of songs and stories.
🔸 This is a songwriter round. Each artist will take turns sharing the stories behind their songs, performing stripped-down versions, and offering a behind-the-scenes look at life on the road and in the writing room.
