Book lovers and fans of award-winning authors Oliva Hawker and Garth Stein! Join us on September 6, 2024 for “An Evening With Authors”, hosted by Lewis County American Association of University Women. The event will be held in the Rose Bowman Room of the Trans Alta Building at Centralia College and begins at 7:00pm. Tickets are available by contacting (360) 561-2831 and at local bookstores Book ‘N’ Brush and Centralia Bookstore. Those attending the Southwest Washington Writers Conference can purchase tickets for this event as part of the conference registration at https://southwestwashingtonwriters.com/
Oliva Hawker, author of “One for the Blackbird, One for the Crow” and “The Rise of Light”, in addition to several other books, and Garth Stein, author of “The Art of Racing in the Rain”, “A Sudden Light” and many other popular novels, will both be on hand for interview and Question/Answer sessions, along with signing books.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Hope Alliance, Lewis County’s accredited sexual assault and domestic violence support center.
