About the author
Film historian is known as the “Film Noir Detective” and has found and interviewed about 50 film noir stars. Many are small parts, some large parts and mostly aging or gone. His book is titled Cries in the Night: Children in Film Noir. He has brought the era to life with smiles, stories and many rare photos from the various roles that were lasting. He had a real love and unique insight into the genre that endures to this day.
A resident of Chico, Mr. Strom grew up in the Bay Area with all its wonderful theaters and memories.
