The Friends of the Chesterfield County Public Library invite you to an evening with local author Nancy Wright Beasley! Join us Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 5:30 PM at the Midlothian Library Community Room, located at:

A Friends Reception with light fare will start at 5:30 PM and is open to Friends of the Chesterfield County Public Library only. (Not a Friend yet? Join today!)
The Author Presentation (including a screening of "Saving Sara," a one-man, one-act play based on the novel The Little Lion) will begin at 6:30 PM and all may register to attend.

About the Author
began her writing journey as a journalist in 1979, contributing to publications such as The Richmond News Leader and Richmond Magazine. She is best known as the author of The Little Lion (2015), which was adpated for the stage by Irene Ziegler, and Izzy’s Fire (2005), which was named one of five outstanding nonfiction books by Virginia authors in 2005 and nominated for a People’s Choice Award.
Nancy Wright Beasley lives in North Chesterfield, VA. She has two sons, three perfect grandchildren, and one very special great grandson.
