Join us for an evening with Ann Parson, as she shares on her book The Birds of Dog a historical novel that takes place in Boston in the mid 1800s and shines a light on the beginning days of the sciences.She will go into the early history of America’s sciences and many true & forgotten stories.
As a science writer Ann has covered a range of topics in the areas of medicine, technology, the environment, and other sciences. Her profession gives an excuse to be extra curious about the natural forces that surround us, and to try to interest general readers in the many ways in which the sciences can make our world better.
