Books & Books presents Ania Nozewnik-Agárdy in conversation with Sabina Covo to celebrate Cuba Inesperada—a stunning coffee table book with a prologue by Leonardo Padura that reveals the hidden beauty of Cuba’s interiors, patios, and architectural heritage.
About the Book:
Cuba Inesperada is a visually stunning coffee table book bound in elegant linen that offers a rare glimpse into Cuba’s hidden interiors and enchanting patios. The prologue for this artistic piece was written by the world-renown and award-winning New York Times bestseller author, Leonardo Padura. Inspired by the author´s exploratory visits to the island, it captures spaces throughout three magnificent cities (Cienfuegos, Trinidad, and Havana) few have ever seen or imagined. Blending exquisite photography with Cuba´s rich architectural history, Cuba Inesperada showcases the unexpected beauty found beyond Cuba’s well-known facades and today´s crumbling structures. Accompanied with narrative and photo captions in Spanish, it is a tribute to what Cuba used to be. With an eye for detail and a passion for design, the author presents an intimate exploration of architectural heritage, color, and culture, making this book a must-have for design enthusiasts, travelers, and collectors alike.
