About this Event
David Mathieson has been at home in Madrid since the 1990s. A solicitor by profession with a PhD in contemporary history, David was political adviser to former Foreign Secretary Robin Cook. In 2014 David began to organize tours of the battlefields of the Spanish civil war in and around Madrid. Frontline Madrid is a guidebook to the city and surrounding area during the conflict. He has also written a guide to Hitlers Munich and Radical London in the 1950´s.
The Event will be in “chat show” format with David discussing his life and works, and will include readings from the book, before opening up to questions. Drinks and snacks will be served. Whilst the event is free, places are limited. Please reserve here.
