First Baptist Church invites you to join us for an evening of Word and Song with the talented singer/songwriter Tim Menzies."After discerning the Lord’s leading to combine the gifts of teaching His Word, writing songs, and singing, I developed a series of brief Bible lessons, followed by songs that serve as life applications of those lessons. Using every day human relationships, the songs give evidence to the truth of Scripture. This approach is not unlike our Lord using a story or parable to illustrate His timeless Word. The intertwining use of the Holy Scriptures and music, has led me to entitle my presentation: “The Word And Song.”
Tim is a two-time Grammy nominated artist. Tim has been honored to be joined by many gifted guest vocalists on albums including The Isaacs, The Gaither Vocal Band, Vince Gill, Ricky Skaggs and more.
