Join The National WWII Museum and the New Orleans Jewish Community Center Holocaust Committee for an evening of remembrance and reflection to commemorate Yom HaShoah, a day dedicated to the approximately six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust.Following a moving commemoration ceremony, Father Patrick Desbois, a Holocaust researcher and Vatican adviser on Catholic-Jewish relations, will discuss his award-winning book Holocaust by Bullets.
A reception from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. will precede the event and will include hors d'oeuvres, as well as an open bar for beer and wine. Desbois will sign copies of his book following the presentation.
