If you missed January’s event to become an Upstander, don’t worry! 😉 Join us Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 6 PM to learn about the Holocaust Remembrance Association’s Upstander Stone Project—an initiative to paint stones to honor the 1.5 million Jewish children that died in the various concentration camps throughout the Holocaust.
NOTE: This is a sensitive subject and is recommended for adults and adolescents only, those that understand the purpose and depth of the project’s meaning.
All materials will be provided including stones and paint pens. 🪨🎨 How does it work? Each Upstander will be provided a child’s name. One side of the stone will be dedicated to writing their name, age, and the concentration camp in which they were murdered. The other side is dedicated to your creativity—whatever comes to mind; let the emotions flow and embrace the idea of “never forget” as you honor your selected child. It should go without saying but please no hate symbols or crosses.
Hope to see you for an evening of sensitizing hearts to the atrocities committed during the Holocaust. Stone kits to take home will be available for a donation! 👍🏼 These can be done amongst families, friends, or community groups you are involved with.
