About this Event
Together with the students of NYUAD’s Al Diwan Poetry Club, we invite you to a gathering in honour of poetry and literature from the region. With readings in both Arabic and English, we think about how our literary traditions have always played a role in building kinship and solidarities in difficult times.
Nestled in the Library installation of our newly opened 2024 public art commission, Dima Srouji’s This Is Not Your Grave, the session hopes to make space for new connections to take life.
Bring your own poem - whether it’s a piece you’ve written yourself, or just one you hold dear - to read and share over cups of tea.
