About this Event
Join esteemed poet VA Smith for an intimate reading at District Champagne in Washington, D.C. With specialty wines hand-selected by the District Champagne, we’ll listen to VA read from her new book of poetry, “Adaptations,” which touches upon themes of climate change, human history and existential living at large.
VA is a former professor of English at Penn State University, a current editor at River Heron Review, and a dear friend to many in the DC area. She knows how to hang, and she surely knows how to write.
Guests will be treated to hand-picked wines by District Champagne and receive a copy of VA's new book.
We look forward to welcoming you at this very special event! Please reach out to Steve Lucas or Eric Thornton with any questions about this special event.
