Bloomington’s Prodigal Artist (he lives in Arizona now), Joe Beck, was a local DJ for 40 years. He is also a prolific drummer who has played with both ISU and IWU jazz ensembles, legendary artists, Sammy Davis Jr., Eddie Money, Bo Diddly, Stanley Jordan, and of course we know that his most beloved and esteemed career moment is as the original sound technician for Jazz UpFront.
Beck says the group will be playing across all genres and the audience is going to love how they meld them together.
