Kirtan is a very simple and powerful way to meditate and a means of finding our way back to the core of our Being, to our heart, and to our connection with each other. Singing is the heart of kirtan. To learn to chant, you need only to close your eyes, and practice following the sounds, without worrying about how you sound. At a kirtan, all voices merge together to become One Voice.
Join us for this joyful, effortless, and blissful celebration of love and connectedness. We will share, chant, and sing together in a heart-centered and nonjudgmental environment.
If you feel like singing, SING.
If you feel like dancing, DANCE.
By showing up with an openness and willingness, we always receive just what is needed. Whoever is there, whatever sacred mantras we chant, it is always perfect.

COST: This is a community offering and there is no cost to attend. If you wish to make a love donation, it will be gratefully accepted. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Please arrive at least 5 minutes early. Our events and classes begin and end on time. To ensure the safety and comfort of our attendees, presenters, and staff, the doors will lock promptly at the posted start time and late entries will not permitted. Please do not knock on the door if you are late and the door is locked.
​Black Cat Yoga workshops and events are nonrefundable, and your reservation can only be used for the date it was purchased for. In the event that a workshop or event is canceled by us, participants will receive a full refund or a credit to their studio account. Absence or late arrivals to a workshop or series are nonrefundable.
