Doors open at 3pm, show 4-6pm. Tickets are $25.Saxophonist Sean Meade will be presenting an evening filled with compositions written and recorded by jazz icon Joe Henderson. Join us as Sean and the band explores the various eras of Henderson's deep catalog, ranging from classics that have earned their place as jazz standards; to lesser known, but powerful and exciting compositions.
Joining Sean will be a former staple of the Wilmington Jazz and greater music scene: Keith Butler Jr. If you've been a part of Wilmington around 2011-2016, you're certain to have heard Keith performing on drums in at least one band in town. Keith now resides in D.C., but will be making a trip down to be a part of a band of local and regional talented musicians for one night only, only at Live at Ted's.
Jerald Shynett will also be joining in on keys and Butler Knowles on bass. Please join us for this stellar night of jazz by some of Wilmington, NC's finest musicians!
