Immerse yourself in the ancient sound of Dhrupad, the oldest form of Indian Classical Music, with esteemed vocalist Chintan Upadhyay.
The nature of Dhrupad music is spiritual, meditative and introspective. The objective is not to entertain, but to immerse the listener in the experience of the raga.
Chintan is a renowned singerhailing from Gujarat, India and is an exponent of the Dagar style of Dhrupad, having studied under the illustrious Pt. Uday Bhawalkar.
Accompanying Chintan will be Sodhi Deere an extremely skilled and captivating percussionist from Glasgow.
