Join us at Forsyth Music Shop on Saturday, 17 May, for a special recital showcasing Beethoven’s final five piano sonatas, performed by five outstanding young pianists from the Royal Northern College of Music, studying under internationally acclaimed pianist Graham Scott.
This unique event offers a rare opportunity to experience Beethoven’s profound late sonatas in one captivating evening. These masterworks traverse lyrical introspection, passionate intensity, and groundbreaking innovation, culminating in the monumental "Hammerklavier" Sonata (Op. 106). Each performance will reveal fresh insights into Beethoven’s extraordinary musical vision and emotional depth.
The recital will last approximately 2 hours 30 minutes, including a 20-minute interval.
