As an International Chef, writer and adventurer, Mike Keen has strong ideas about how we should be eating.Born in England and brought up in Nigeria, Saudi Arabia and Germany, Mike got a taste for exotic flavours and adventurous cooking at an early age and has explored the cuisines of multiple countries.
Join us and be taken on a 3000km kayak voyage through Greenland where he made his way from inlet to iceberg living on a traditional Greenlandic diet, the same as the Inuit would have eaten thousands of years ago. Both before and on his immediate return from the trip, Mike had extensive blood tests and he will share the science with you.
Mike says the diet was incredible and a life changing experience, so hear how what he ate made him feel and how that impacts his thoughts on how we as a species should be eating and how that fits in to the current global food system.
