About this Event

Dogs are man’s most loyal and forgiving friend and have provided inspiration, solace and companionship throughout a variety of artistic lives. From the poignancy of Landseer, Queen Victoria’s favourite animal painter, to Picasso’s obsession with a dachshund called Lump to the whippets of Freud and so many more, discover the role dogs have played in an artist's life and many of the masterpieces they have inspired.
