About the Speaker

Yang Qinli is a Senior Librarian from the Collection Planning & Development department of National Library Board. His team works on promoting reading in Chinese. Qinli is a Chinese history enthusiast, particularly fascinated with the history of the Three Kingdoms and the Northern and Southern Dynasty Period. He used to organise the Ancient China History meetup programmes and conducted talks to share about China history. Qinli believes that the wisdom of past remains relevant in today’s context and there’s much we can learn from the past that can be applied to enrich our lives.
