There is a Co-op with a cash machine next to Aldbourne Memorial Hall.

The actors’ agents have requested that no filming whatsoever be permitted please.

The nearest mainline train station is Swindon, approximately 10 miles away.

A kind request from Aldbourne Parish Council:
"Polite Parking Notice.
Aldbourne is a busy working village and is always happy to welcome visitors.
However, parking can become a concern during larger events. The Parish Council ask that the following guidelines are please adhered to during your visit.
1. **Avoid Parking on Junctions**: Ensure clear visibility and safety at all junctions by refraining from parking near corners or junctions. This is particularly important around the junction of Oxford Street/Lottage Road, and Castle Street/Marlborough Road, where visibility and access is already reduced due to the layout of the roads.
2. **Keep Clear Lines and Wording**: Do not park over white T lines or Keep Clear wording. They are there to ensure the safety of pedestrians and vehicles are not compromised.
3. **Keep High Traffic Areas Clear**: Please try not to park in areas such as The Green, the Post Office (in The Square) and Co-op (on Oxford Street), as it hinders residents & customers access and can affect local businesses.
4. **Respect Driveways**: Do not park in front of or block any driveways. Access to homes and businesses must be maintained at all times.
5. **Ensure Passage for Large Vehicles**: Park in a manner that allows emergency services, delivery trucks, and other large vehicles such as tractors to pass through without obstruction.
Thank you very much for your cooperation in maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for everyone visiting and living in the village. The Parish Council very much hopes you enjoy your visit to Aldbourne."
Lastly, in view of the broadcast of the new series of Doctor Who, and everyone watching it at different times, please can the event be a "no spoilers" zone - many won't have had the chance to watch at least that day's episode!
Looking forward to seeing you there and sharing a lovely afternoon!
