She has been interviewed by the Big10 Network for her work with the college football officials in the Big Ten, MAC, Missouri Valley, and Pioneer conferences. Dr. Gore is also a keynote speaker who has led discussion topics at conferences and conducted workshops on leadership, disparities in health care, strategic planning, organizational change, engagement surveys, and policy implications. Her speaking engagements have included the annual meetings for the Association for American Medical Colleges, the National Conference on Race and Ethnicity, and the Higher Learning Commission. Dr. Gore is a graduate of Bowling Green State University (BGSU), where she received a Bachelor's of Communications and a Master's of Mass Communication with a study emphasis on minority communities in the Greater Toledo Ohio area. Dr. Gore earned a Doctor of Education in Leadership Studies from BGSU where she conducted research in the area of involvement behaviors or interactions between minority medical students and the people around them and the ways these interactions affected their intent to remain in school. Dr. Gore has been married for thirty years and is the wife of retired firefighter Bobby Lee Gore, Jr. They are the proud parents of two wonderful grown children, Nathaniel Gore and Shoshanah Gore.
