Retreat 1: AwarenessThis theme is central to the practice. It involves paying attention to the present moment with an open, non-judgmental attitude. In mindfulness, awareness is about observing thoughts, feelings, and sensations as they arise, without trying to change or control them.
This afternoon retreat will help participants explore awareness in this way and develop inner experiences from physical sensations in the body to emotional reactions and mental patterns.

An Afternoon of Mindfulness- an opportunity to pause, breathe and bring some stillness to your day while gently exploring some of the main aspects of the tradition.
Please join us for the whole series of four sessions or can be attended as stand-alone events. All retreats will include meditation practice, teaching and mindful enquiry on each theme as well as periods of silence.
Suited to those with some experience of Mindfulness meditation however all are welcome to attend.
