An afternoon of chamber music by friends, for friends

We are proud to present “An afternoon of chamber music by friends, for friends” as a joint project by the performance hardened AniBrass and new formed Reminiscence Saxophone Ensemble. This concert carries the hope of being a yearly project to showcase the growth of both the ensemble and their members as we look toward growing steadily both in membership and in our growth towards chamber music excellences. This platform is also an outreach opportunity for other younger ensembles to come together and join us to perform and showcase their own growth.

The very first in our series of yearly chamber evening concert will showcase a performance of music across many genre which includes movie music, anime music, classical music, pop songs and contemporary music. The Reminiscence Saxophone Ensemble will also be showcasing a special arrangement to celebrate SG60 with “Graffiti Singapore” arranged by Local arranger, Mr Joseph featuring popular and favourite National Day songs through the last 60 years.

The Reminiscence Saxophone and Anibrass will begin the first half of the concert with repertoire that showcases the different instruments within a saxophone ensemble and brass ensemble with music that both put a spotlight on individual instruments as well as how those instruments can make a difference within the ensemble.

The second half will showcase memorable and familiar tunes from Disney songs from Aladdin, Frozen and Pinocchio, Oldies like” Can’t take my eyes off of you” and tunes from Michael Jackson as well as Anime Music from Studio Ghibli.
